Program Founder & Director
Domina Stamas is a Space Exploration Educator with 15 years of experience teaching physics and astronomy. She holds a B.A. in Biological Anthropology from UC Davis and an M.A. in Education with a focus on curriculum development. As a NASA HUNCH Educator, NASA Airborne Astronomy Ambassador, U.S. Naval Academy SET Sail participant, and Space Academy alum, she brings real-world space science into the classroom to inspire the next generation.
In October 2025, Domina will serve as the Medical Officer for Crew Nivalis in the World’s Biggest Analog Mission at the Lunares Habitat in Poland. Through the ACE Project (Analog Crew Education), she connects students directly with analog astronaut missions, engaging them in authentic science, research, and human exploration experiences.
