Jackie Blumer is a passionate Earth and Space Science educator with over twenty-five years of classroom experience. She has dedicated her career to sparking curiosity in young learners, particularly in rural and underserved communities, by connecting them with the wonders of our planet and the universe beyond. Through creative and hands-on approaches, she empowers students to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and explorers.
Beyond the classroom, Jackie serves as a leader and advocate for STEM education on a national and international scale. She is the ARISS USA Logistics Coordinator, a Space Foundation Liaison, and the K-12 STEM Coordinator for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) St. Louis Region. Her collaborations with organizations such as the Limitless Space Institute, Air and Space Forces Association, and Challenger Learning Center have allowed her to create meaningful, accessible learning opportunities for teachers and students. Through workshops, clubs, and outreach, Jackie inspires the next generation to pursue STEM and explore space.
